I'm about to head out to catch the train to Hogsmeade. I think Sirius got a bit pissed when I told him that I wasn't going to be spending it with him, Remus and Peter...or that I have a date and he doesn't :) Whatever the case, I'm going to have a blast.

Maybe Sirius will finally ask out Mia, that friend of Lily's that's in Ravenclaw. Late night patrol rumors say that she's had a crush on him for awhile.

Besides Hogsmeade, we're getting ready for Quidditch to start up again. The first match is Gryffindor vs. Slytherin - prepare to go down Slytherin!

I have to admit, I'm a bit shocked. And the fact that I can write about it in here is amusing to me. I finally did it and though it was a really stupid way of asking and probably the way a coward would do it...I don't mind at all.

I asked Lily out.

Well, I asked her to go with me to Hogsmeade on the first weekend. And that's not even the best part - she said yes! I wanted to tell Sirius and Remus but I missed seeing them before they headed to bed. Which is something that I should probably be doing. But I wanted to write about this.

Oh! Which reminds me, I have to do something about Sirius. He keeps thinking that my love life is something that should be of interest to him, which at times it will be. But mate, first in order to comment on my love life, you have to get one. I think that there's a couple girls in our house that have a crush on him - but I know one that does that's in Ravenclaw.

I'm not going to mention names, because I think it'd be amusig for Sirius to wake up and see that there's a girl that hangs out with Lily occasionally that likes him - almost worships him when it comes to Quidditch, and he's not seeing it. Mate, you're my brother and all but you can be a right arse sometimes.

Off to bed now. McGonagall wants to meet with Lily and me to discuss Head Boy and Head Girl issues and what we're supposed to do. Obviously, I gave up on the seperate room gig, I wanted to stay with my Mates my last year at Hogwarts.

I don't know exactly what I'm supposed to do with this bloody thing - but needless to say, it's interesting. Lily told me I'm supposed to write my thoughts in this so other people can read it sometimes. Why would anyone want to do that?

Anyways - to catch up, McGonagall made me Quidditch Captain for this year. I'm not nervous, mainly because I know we'll have a good team. With me and Sirius on it, it's bound to be a good team. One things for sure though, the new Gryffindor first years that just arrived at Hogwarts make Lily proud I bet, they're all about studying and getting the best out of what this school can offer. Sirius and I will teach 'em. Course I'm sure Remus will have something to say about it...we have to bring some of 'em over to our side mate! It's just not fair.

Classes should be interesting, but that's not what is keeping me interested. Fact is, I've got a bit more important things on my mind...
